City Council Regular Meeting Minutes
December 11, 2018
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Mosser at 6:30 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was said
Roll Call: Present: Mayor: Ed Mosser; Council Members: Jim Beach, Kaleb Bjornstad; Pat Stenzel, Arik Mattson; City Clerk: Nicole LaFrance; Absent: Maintenance Operator: Bill Guggisberg Public: Dale Hedensten; Steve Seipp
Motion was made by Bjornstad to approve the November 28, 2018 Regular Meeting Minutes —2nd by Beach—carried.
There was no public comment.
Maintenance Report: There was no maintenance report.
Unfinished Business: Delinquent water/sewer accounts were reviewed.
Unfinished Business: TB3’s requested $10,800 from Economic Development Authority for repairs and updates to the business. The council would like to recommend this request to the EDA commission for loan setup and amortization options.
Motion made by Bjornstad to approve Resolution 2018-14 Donations for Playground Equipment- 2nd by Matson – carried.
Motion made by Bjornstad to approve Resolution 2015-15 Polling Place Designation – 2nd by Stenzel – carried.
New Business: Council discussed a need for a air compressor in the community. The gas station no longer carries air. Mayor Mosser will talk with Guggisberg to set one up off fire hall.
Motion made by Bjornstad to approve the final 2019 City Levy with a increase of 4% – 2nd by Beach – carried.
Motion made by Beach to accept and approve the Accounts Payable and Reconciliation Reports –2nd by Stenzel—carried. This includes second half council pay.
Miscellanous Items: The old school was discussed.
Motion made by Bjornstad to adjourn —2nd by Stenzel—carried.
