City Council Regular Meeting Minutes
September 21. 2016
Present: Mayor: Ed Mosser; Council Members: Jim Beach, Jeremy Henke, Pat Stenzel;
Interim City Clerk: Jan Beach
Absent: Council Member: Kaleb Bjornstad; City Maintenance Operator: Bill Guggisberg
Others present: Owen Todd from Bolton Menk; Andrew Bernau, C.P.A. City Auditor;
Steve Seipp, Fire Chief and property owner
Ed called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Jan called roll.
Motion made by Jeremy—2nd by Pat to approve the August 17, 2016 Regular Meeting Minutes—carried.
Public Comments: none
Engineer Owen Todd:
Owen presented the Proposed Change Order #3 to change the completion date on the Water Project—Mayor Ed signed the Change Order. Council members reported several items that need to be completed from the Water Project. Owen suggested a meeting with BCM, Rural Dev. and the City to address the problems.
Andrew Bernau:
The Audit report was reviewed.
Motion made by Jim –2nd by Pat to Approve the 2015 Auditor’s Report prepared by Hill, Larson, Walth & Benda CPA firm.—carried
Motion made by Pat –2nd by Jim to transfer $11,952.00 from the General Fund to the Fire Department Equipment Fund.—carried
Unfinished Business:
Jan will send disconnect notices to all delinquent Water Customers.
City budget was discussed.
New Business: none
Accounts Payable/Reconciliation Reports:
Motion made by Pat–2nd by Jim to accept and approve the Accounts Payable and Reconciliation Reports—carried
Miscellaneous:
Steve Seipp was asked about the City purchasing part of the park–Steve does not want to sell.
